JonVieve defends and counsels companies across industries in all types of employment and traditional labor law matters. She has a record of successfully litigating cases in state and federal courts across the country, as well as in private arbitration and before administrative agencies.
JonVieve’s practice focuses on the defense of administrative matters and lawsuits brought by single and multi-plaintiffs involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, failure to accommodate, and interference that arise under various state and federal employment statutes. She is a strategic thinker who enjoys devising outside-the-box solutions to complex litigation matters. JonVieve is committed to resolving claims in a prompt, cost-effective manner and has helped to obtain numerous pre-trial dismissals on behalf of her clients.
JonVieve has served as the point of contact for clients seeking day-to-day advice and counsel regarding employee issues. She understands that clients often need responses quickly, and she has a track record of being readily accessible to meet those needs. JonVieve also conducts internal corporate investigations relating to claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Prior to attending law school, JonVieve earned her master’s in business administration. She utilizes her business knowledge and experiences, in addition to her legal expertise, to help clients implement practical solutions that minimize legal risks while keeping in mind the company’s business, operational considerations, and corporate culture. To that end, JonVieve drafts employee handbooks, arbitration agreements, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements, and non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
Furthermore, JonVieve represents employers in traditional labor matters, including defending against unfair labor practice charges and navigating grievances and arbitrations.
