Overview
Karl Lindegren is a partner in Fisher Phillips’ Irvine and Los Angeles offices and is the co-chair of the firm’s California Litigation Practice Group. Karl has practiced labor and employment law for over 30 years, representing companies of all sizes. In his litigation practice, he has tried high stakes employment cases to verdict (for the defense). Representative issues include disability, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation/whistleblower claims. He also advises clients in all areas of employment-related law including, discrimination, leave and accommodation issues, wage-hour, trade secrets and workplace safety (OSHA). In his litigation practice, Karl has handled cases before the California Courts of Appeal, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the Montana Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court. Notably, Karl and the Fisher Phillips team successfully took the Encino Motorcars case to the United States Supreme Court.
Karl frequently speaks to employer groups and provides training to clients and human resource groups.
