Overview
Aymara Ledezma is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She represents and counsels employers of all sizes in all aspects of labor and employment law, including matters involving wage and hour issues, allegations of discrimination and harassment, and wrongful discharge. She has a background in representing employers against claims before state and federal courts and government agencies and has obtained favorable results at agency hearings.
Aymara counsels businesses of all sizes on day-to-day employment issues, offering preventative advice to clients on a variety of issues including advising them on wage and hour law, exemption status, meal and rest break policy, harassment training, termination steps, and reasonable accommodations, among other employment issues. Aymara also assists clients with workplace investigations, including allegations of sexual harassment and other complaints of wrongdoing or mismanagement.
She also frequently presents seminars and workshops on employment issues to executives, supervisors, managers, and human resources professionals, including AB 1825 Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Training. As a native Spanish speaker, Aymara offers trainings to clients in Spanish.
