Overview
Sarah Leon is an associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office who defends employers in a wide range of workplace disputes, helps them comply with federal and state employment laws and agency regulations, and counsels on numerous aspects of the employment relationship. Her experience includes drafting various pleadings and motions for labor and employment-related matters in state and federal court.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Sarah served as an attorney for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she managed a felony case load of 90+ clients and tried cases. Sarah was also an associate with a Fort Lauderdale-based law firm where she successfully argued substantive motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss, while representing corporate clients in labor and employment law and complex commercial and business litigation.
While in law school, Sarah was Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy and Internal Vice President for the Association for Criminal Justice.
