Overview
Lucy Anderson is an associate in Fisher Phillips’ Charlotte office who defends employers in employment discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and workplace safety-related cases, with an emphasis on devising creative risk management strategies that efficiently achieve positive results. She has experience conducting pre-suit investigations of workplace accidents and OSHA violations and regularly appears in state and federal courts, including contested motions and jury trials.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Lucy practiced in the Charlotte office of a large insurance defense firm, where she focused on employment law, complex commercial litigation, personal injury defense, products liability, premises liability, and insurance coverage disputes. During law school, Lucy was a member of the Maritime Law Journal and wrote extensively on the issue of mandatory employment arbitration agreements within the cruise ship industry.
