Overview
Lisa McClane is a partner in the firm’s Las Vegas office. Her practice covers the spectrum of employment litigation, including both state and federal claims.
Lisa has experience advocating for corporate clients and public employers in state and federal court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations and before governmental agencies including the EEOC, NERC, DETR and DOL. She has handled cases involving claims of race, age, disability, religious and sex discrimination, as well as sexual harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and non-compete/restrictive covenant issues.
Additionally, Lisa routinely counsels clients on a variety of employment practices, including employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and employee handbooks and policies. She also conducts workplace investigations, trainings and seminars relating to anti-discrimination/harassment, human resources and management training, as well as disability and health leave management.
Lisa was a member of the Honors Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she was named both a University Honors Scholar and Department Honors Scholar. While attending law school, Lisa was an executive officer and member of the Society of Advocates. She also served as an extern for the Honorable David T. Wall of the Eighth Judicial District Court and for the Nevada Attorney General’s office.
