Connie Yang is a partner in the firm’s Orlando office and an integral member of the firm’s Immigration Practice Group. She advises local, national and international businesses of all sizes on immigration compliance and employee mobility issues, including policies and strategic changes to existing programs in response to legal and other worldwide developments.
With a focus on successfully navigating clients through U.S. immigration law, Connie has extensive experience in:
- Policies concerning the relocation of employees and hiring foreign workers (including H-1B, L-1s, E-3, EB-1C, PERM and I-140)
- Filing petitions and applications (including Extraordinary Ability, National Interest Waivers, O-1, Multinational Manager Green Cards, Marriage-based Green Cards, and Naturalization)
- Effective immigration compliance training for employers
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Connie was an attorney at a global professional services network, where she teamed with clients to develop efficient immigration programs supporting global mobility and human resources goals and oversaw a high volume of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions.
