Alyssa Levy Andalman regularly counsels employers on all aspects of their employment relationships, including contracts, leave laws, independent contractor issues, accommodations, and covenants not to compete.
Alyssa is best known for her experience with representing employers in workplace law disputes and advice on compliance with a wide range of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Alyssa defended companies in complex employment matters involving the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Title VII. She also conducted workplace investigations and defended employers in matters associated with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) including advice and defense of citations. She has also defended employers in unemployment appeals, workers’ compensation litigation, and personal injury and toxic tort lawsuits.
