Overview
Adanna Ferguson, an associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office with a decade of experience in labor and employment law, provides legal and strategic advice on complex matters relating to policies and procedures, risk reduction, Title VII, The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Florida Civil Rights Act (FCRA). Additionally, she has experience in collective bargaining and advising senior executives on personnel decisions including terminations, demotions, suspensions, and ADA accommodations.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Adanna served as labor and employment counsel for the City of Miami where she represented the city in federal and state civil litigation, arbitrations, mediations and administrative hearings. During her time there, she tried and won as first-chair counsel in a high profile, eight-count federal discrimination lawsuit.
