Overview
Suzanne Bogdan is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office. She is a creative and business-minded attorney who works hard to understand her client’s organization and goals so she can provide sound advice and guidance to clients as she assists them in working through their everyday concerns. Suzanne counsels and represents employers nationally in all types of employment-related matters, including claims for age, race, sex/gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religious, and national original discrimination arising under the various civil rights laws. She also counsels on matters involving family leave issues, wage hour, privacy, and breach of contract. Suzanne provides interactive and engaging training, preventive audits, policy reviews, drafts contracts, and defends claims in the administrative setting and all courts.
Suzanne’s practice spans many industries, including but not limited to education, healthcare, auto dealerships, the elevator industry, insurance agencies, and others.
Suzanne works closely with many school accrediting agencies and associations, including the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the National Business Officers’ Association (NBOA), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), MISBO, MAIS, and the Florida Council of Independent Schools.
Suzanne is a frequent presenter to both educational institutions and corporate associations on all aspects of employment law and risk management in the employment context.
