Overview
Heather McFeeley is an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office who represents employers in a range of workplace-related issues and disputes including claims involving trade secrets, non-compete agreements and employment discrimination.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Heather practiced at a national litigation firm, where she defended against lawsuits and pre-litigation matters involving employment discrimination, premises liability, and construction defect claims. In addition to matters in state and federal courts in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Heather has assisted client companies in responding to charges and requests for information from the EEOC, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) and New Jersey Attorney General Division on Civil Rights (DCR). She also has represented companies in mediations in efforts to resolve disputes short of trial.
During law school, Heather served on the executive board as the Internal Managing Editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. She was awarded the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law Silver Superior Editor Award for her overall performance in the staff substantive editing process. She was also the recipient of the Russell R. Levin Memorial Award for her dedication and contribution to the Journal and the Herman V. Belk Memorial Award in recognition of her demonstrated excellence in legal writing.
Heather earned her B.S. in Nursing from Drexel University, during which her co-op work experience included time working in large urban teaching hospitals and skilled nursing care facilities. She is a Registered Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania.
