Fisher Phillips Continues Rapid Expansion in New Jersey with the Addition of David Kass

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that David Kass has joined the firm as an associate in its rapidly growing New Jersey office.
David was most recently an associate in the Labor & Employment, Education Practice Group at a regional full-service law firm. In that role, he performed traditional labor work, including the handling of grievance arbitrations and negotiations for collective bargaining agreements. David also handled all forms of employment litigation on behalf of clients in addition to his day-to-day counseling work which included assisting with the drafting of policies/procedures dealing with leave accommodation issues and discipline/termination issues.
At Fisher Phillips, David will continue to focus on traditional labor work, handling a variety of litigations, and acting as a trusted counselor for clients.
Prior to entering private practice, David served as a Law Clerk in the Morris-Sussex Vicinage for the Honorable Stuart A. Minkowitz, A.J.S.C. and the Honorable Maritza Berdote Byrne, P.J.Ch. He also assisted the Honorable Stephan C. Hansbury, J.S.C. (ret., temporarily assigned on recall) during his tenure with the Superior Court.
David earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where he served as an Articles Editor for the Brooklyn Law Review and interned with the New York County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to law school he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Buffalo, SUNY.
