Fisher Phillips partner Kevin Troutman and Chief Content Officer Rich Meneghello have been recognized as Top Authors in JD Supra’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards. They were selected for their thought leadership and visibility based on high levels of engagement with their articles by JD Supra readers.
In addition to Kevin’s and Rich’s Top Author recognition, JD Supra recognized two of the firm’s articles that were among the most popular in 2021, each covering the topic of employer liability issues:
- First Lawsuit Challenging Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccine May Shed Light on Employer Parameters
- One Year Later: How the Evolving Work-from-Home Climate Prompts Reminders for Technology Best Practices
“It’s an honor to be recognized again as part of JD Supra’s Readers’ Choice Awards,” said Meneghello, who was recently promoted to serve as the firm’s first-ever Chief Content Officer. “It’s always affirming to see that our ongoing efforts to react quickly to relevant industry news, legal changes, and case outcomes are valued by JD Supra readers.”
Attorneys from Fisher Phillips are known for their timely legal alerts — or insights — for a variety of workplace law topics. Over 225 Fisher Phillips attorneys contributed to publishing over 500 insights in 2021, a year that saw tremendous interest in vaccine-related content.
“During an unprecedented period filled with challenges related to COVID-19, we are proud of so many of our attorneys who went above and beyond to contribute to the firm’s thought leadership efforts,” said Troutman, a firm partner who Co-Chairs its Healthcare Industry Group and leads the firm’s COVID-19 Vaccine Team. “Our published content has helped keep our clients on top of the constantly evolving workplace issues associated with the pandemic, consistently providing practical insights that have been helpful to all employers as well as the general public.”
The five most-viewed Insights on the firm’s website all related to employment aspects of the COVID-19 vaccine, and the firm posted nearly 150 such pieces of content last year alone. The firm also published popular pieces on cryptocurrency, the sports industry, the gig economy, and a variety of other workplace law topics.
The JD Supra Readers’ Choice Awards recognize top authors and firms whose articles were read by C-suite executives, in-house counsel, media, and other professionals across the JD Supra platform during 2021. For this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards, the content aggregator closely reviewed its 2021 reader data, identifying 28 main topics for their timeliness as well as their proven, ongoing importance. In total, across all categories only 267 authors from over 65,000 who publish on the platform were recognized.
Fisher Phillips’ content is regularly used as a resource for clients and industry peers, as well as journalists and producers.
