Overview
Stephanie McConkie defends employers in a wide variety of labor and employment disputes, including discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims before federal and state courts, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), state civil rights agencies, and state wage and hour divisions.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Stephanie was an associate for a national full-service law firm where she focused on developing and implementing comprehensive defense strategies for labor and employment, litigation, and malpractice matters. Stephanie also practiced at a boutique firm specializing in intellectual property litigation and complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. After law school, Stephanie served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Andrew P. McCallin of Colorado’s Second Judicial District.
Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she earned a certificate in intellectual property and was a member of the law school’s American Bar Association National Moot Court Team. During law school, she interned for national technology companies and she externed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Stephanie is also an active member of the Colorado legal community, serving on the board for the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado, the Denver Bar Association, and the University of Denver Law Alumni Council.
