Overview
Ryan Wheeler is a partner in the firm's Irvine office where he represents employers in class, representative, collective, and individual litigation from inception through trial. He litigates cases involving a broad range of issues including discrimination, harassment, state and federal wage and hour claims, retaliation, PAGA and trade secrets. Along with his extensive litigation work, Ryan regularly advises and counsels clients on day-to-day employment issues including handling workplace investigations, termination and discipline, reductions in force and worker classifications. He regularly conducts compliance and anti-harassment trainings for both employees and managers.
Ryan represents clients in a myriad of industries and has extensive experience in the automotive dealership, manufacturing, transportation, housing, higher education, and pest control sectors.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Ryan served for two years as a law clerk to the Honorable James E. Gritzner, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Iowa. While in law school, Ryan was a member of the Pepperdine Law Review and worked as a judicial extern for Ugandan Court of Appeals Justice C.N.B. Kitumba, JA, in Kampala, Uganda.
