Overview
Rebecca Bovinet advises employers on numerous matters, including state staffing laws and regulations, managing and resolving employee complaints, and compliance strategies for labor and employment laws nationwide. She also has experience enhancing company policies and handbooks along with drafting and reviewing employment agreements, separation agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and various other contracts.
In addition to her employer advisory work, Rebecca engages in government relations, successfully advocating for and enacting state and regulatory changes that impact the staffing industry.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Rebecca was Senior Corporate Counsel and Director of Compliance for a nationwide healthcare staffing company where she spearheaded the expansion of the legal department. In this role, she ensured the organization’s legal compliance, handled sensitive employee relations issues, developed privacy initiatives, and ensured the organization met certification standards.
During law school, Rebecca was the Editor-in-Chief of the FIU Law Review at Florida International University College of Law.
