Overview
Hank is a partner in the firm's Pittsburgh office. Hank’s practice is concentrated in the areas of compliance counseling, litigation of civil enforcement matters, accident investigation, counseling concerning criminal liability under various mining statutes, and discrimination and retaliation claims under federal statutory provisions related to mining and occupational safety and health.
Hank’s work in occupational safety and health law began in 1978, and since then he has represented and counseled clients in a variety of industries, including coal, metal and nonmetal mining, and stone, sand, and gravel operations. His practice covers regulatory and employment issues, including investigations by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania concerning civil and criminal liability of companies and individuals.
