Overview
Lauren Guggisberg represents employers in a wide range of employment and labor matters including harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes. She also counsels and assists employers with the development of employee handbooks and policies.
Lauren received her J.D. from the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. She obtained certificates in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Center and Business and Finance from the Palmer Center for Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law. Lauren was a research assistant for Professor Thomas Stipanowich, the W. H. Webster Chair of Dispute Resolution, in which capacity she contributed to his upcoming book about the life and lessons of Abraham Lincoln as applied to Alternative Dispute Resolution.
While in law school, Lauren externed for the Honorable Victoria S. Kaufman in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California. Lauren also worked as a law clerk for a law firm specializing in public entity defense, defending public entities in various stages of litigation. She participated in Pepperdine’s Startup Law Clinic where she assisted startups in their beginning transactional stages.
Lauren received her B.A. in Spanish Language from the University of Southern California Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences with dual minors in Business Administration and Business Law from the Marshall School of Business.
