
Overview
Kimberly Jenkins is an associate in the firm’s Sacramento office and defends employers in various labor and employment-related matters, including single plaintiff lawsuits alleging retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination, and harassment, as well as representative and class action wage and hour matters. She also provides advice and counsel related to employment contracts and best practices for company-wide employment policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Kimberly was an associate at a multi-practice law firm based in Sacramento where she focused on transactional and litigation matters, including employment claims, and represented clients from a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, multi-residence property management, veterinary medicine, insurance, and sales.
Kimberly graduated Order of the Coif with Great Distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and earned a concentration in Capital Lawyering. During law school, Kimberly served as a staff writer and primary editor for the University of The Pacific Law Review. She also interned at the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office and externed for Justice Ronald B. Robie at the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District.
Prior to law school, Kimberly worked in administrative support roles for various healthcare organizations over a ten-year span, giving her valuable insight into healthcare operations which contributes to her success in representing clients in the healthcare industry.
