Overview
Kelsey Schiappacasse is an associate in the Firm’s Philadelphia office who brings both private and public sector experience to our labor and employment practice representing employers nationwide. Kelsey is equally adept in employment-related litigation matters and counseling and participates in all stages of administrative investigations and hearings.
In her litigation practice, Kelsey handles a wide array of employment-related matters both in court and at the administrative level. Such matters include discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Kelsey also devotes significant time to employment counseling on a broad spectrum of day-to-day employment matters, including employee discipline, terminations, navigating employee leaves of absence, reductions in force and WARN compliance. She handles workplace investigations and assists employers in drafting policies, handbooks, and employment-related agreements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
While Kelsey serves a broad array of clients, she devotes a large segment of her litigation and counseling practice to representing clients in the financial services, healthcare, and car dealership industries.
Aside from Kelsey’s employment litigation and counseling work, Kelsey also has experience representing clients in FINRA arbitrations in the context of Form U-5 defamation actions.
Kelsey is a member of the Firm’s Associate Development and Retention Committee, focusing on creating ways to better support associate retention and development across the Firm. Kelsey also previously served on the Firm’s Innovation Committee with a focus on the many strategic opportunities presented by advances in technology.
