Overview
Jason Brown is a partner in the firm's San Francisco office and has been practicing labor and employment law for over a decade. Jason's experience includes first and second-chairing more than 40 single-plaintiff matters and class/PAGA wage and hour disputes in court and arbitration and handling a variety of matters regarding commission and bonus plan compliance, wage and hour compliance, workplace investigations, leaves of absence policies and implementation, and trade secrets protection. He also counsels on reasonable accommodations, employee discipline, reductions in force, pay equity, and more.
Jason has created training curriculum on emerging and critical topics relating to all aspects of the employment lifecycle, such as employee relations issues, performance management, diversity, equity, and inclusion, anti-harassment and retaliation, hiring, and terminations.
He has practiced for both plaintiffs and defendants, in-house, and in private practice. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Jason most recently served as the director and in-house employment counsel for a leading video game publisher after spending several years at an AmLaw 100 firm.
