Overview
Jae-Min Hwang Cho is an associate in Fisher Phillips’ Irvine office. She counsels and defends employers in a variety of employment law matters, including wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other similar claims. She also advises clients on implementing and drafting various handbook policies.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Jae-Min obtained valuable legal experience as a judicial extern, summer associate, and law clerk throughout Orange County. Before attending law school, Jae-Min worked for fine art institutions in New York and California, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Jae-Min earned her law degree from the University of California, Irvine, School of Law. During her time at UCI Law, Jae-Min served as Staff Editor and Research Editor of the UC Irvine Law Review and Treasurer of the student organization, It Takes a Village. She was also an inaugural recipient of the Kim/Lee Scholarship in 2022 and 2023.
Before attending law school, Jae-Min completed her master’s at the University of Chicago and attended the University of California, Irvine, for her undergraduate degree.
