Overview
Elysse Gorney, an associate in the firm’s Tampa office, advises employers on a range of workplace law disputes and provides companies with counseling on all aspects of their employment relationships. Elysse also has experience defending employers in a variety of employment matters involving employment discrimination and retaliation laws, ADA compliance, family and medical leave, and wage and hour issues.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Elysse served as an associate at a regional law firm where she advised clients on compliance with state and federal laws in labor and employment and worked with clients in creating, implementing, and enforcing workplace policies and procedures.
During law school, Elysse served as the director of the Albers Moot Court Competition where she was awarded the Best Brief Award. Additionally, she served as a member of the Student Affairs Advisory Board.
