Overview
Dennis Cuneo is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office. He has extensive corporate, government, labor relations and site selection experience.
Prior to joining the firm, Dennis was the senior vice president of Toyota Motor North America, Inc. where his responsibilities included oversight of legal, government affairs, public affairs, industry relations, administration, human resources, and strategic planning and research.
He was a member of the management team that started New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI) – Toyota's first assembly plant in North America. He also helped establish Toyota's North American manufacturing headquarters.
Having led projects valued at more than $15 billion and negotiated incentives worth billions of dollars more, Dennis is one of the world's most sought-after site selection consultants and very well connected with economic development officials nationwide.
Dennis has extensive board experience, having served a combined 25 years on the boards of two Fortune 500 companies. He is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees of Loyola University New Orleans. Other notable board experience includes the National Association of Manufacturers, a regional federal reserve bank, a stock exchange, a major league sports authority, and several non-profits. He also held gubernatorial appointments in California, Kentucky and Mississippi.
Dennis started his law career in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and has over 40 years of experience in antitrust and labor law.
