Overview
David Kass advises employers on issues in the workplace related to accommodation requests, investigation of complaints alleging discrimination and harassment, and termination of employees. He has served as labor counsel to various boards of education throughout New Jersey, in addition to other public entities.
David’s experience includes conducting grievance arbitrations and negotiations for collective bargaining agreements with labor unions, plus litigating matters such as tenure charges against public school employees, drafting appellate briefs, and defending clients against Division of Civil Rights complaints. Additionally, he conducts workplace investigations and provides feedback and revisions of personnel manuals.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, David most recently served as a labor and employment associate for a full-service law firm in New Jersey where he focused on workplace law matters in the education industry.
