Danica Hosaka is a litigator who represents businesses in labor and employment matters, with a focus on resolving workplace disputes and advising on compliance with federal and state labor laws. She regularly reviews employee handbooks, drafts employment contracts, and prepares confidentiality agreements tailored to each client’s needs.
Known for her clear communication and rigorous work ethic, Danica sets practical expectations and delivers exceptional legal solutions. Before joining Fisher Phillips, she was an associate at a diversified, Michigan-based law firm where she handled a range of corporate litigation and labor and employment matters.
Danica began her legal career as an extern for the Honorable Judge Hostetler in the St. Joseph Superior Courthouse, participating in pretrial proceedings and drafting recommendations on summary judgment. She also interned with the Chicago Transit Authority, gaining hands-on experience in labor and employment matters.
She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School, where she made the Dean’s List and was recognized for writing the “best brief” in her Legal Writing II section. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California, where she was named to the Dean’s List and honored with the Order of Troy.
