Additionally, he is well versed in Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Age Discrimination Employment Act (ADEA), National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), CROWN Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and other relevant state and federal laws.
Throughout all stages of litigation, Brandon drafts mediation briefs, dispositive motions, various types of pleadings, and engaging directly with clients. He also develops and reviews employer policies and procedures in response to state and federal legislative changes. Brandon is an expert in alternative dispute resolution, ranging from negotiations, arbitrations, and mediations, which is pivotal reaching the best result on behalf of his clients as he regularly represents and defends clients in these proceedings.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Brandon was an associate for a full-service AmLaw 100 law firm where he managed litigation for labor and employment matters.
Born and raised in a small, family-owned California business, Brandon knows firsthand the difficulties and obstacles that many employers face. He leans on that knowledge to counsel employers on ways to reduce turnover, boost retention, stay apprised of current labor laws, and what proactive steps to take to avoid future litigation and potential Labor Code violations. He is consistently seeking to understand core issues and priorities affecting his clients' businesses in order to reach the best and most commonsense solutions.
Outside of the office, Brandon enjoys traveling, gardening, skiing, collecting records, and most of all, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes win at football.
