Overview
Amaris Stich litigates employment law disputes including claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and related claims, as well as individual wage and hour claims and those brought on a class or PAGA representative basis. She also regularly advises employers on employment and human resources issues.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Amaris practiced at employment and business litigation firms in the Los Angeles area, where she handled workplace-related disputes, business disputes, breach of contract claims, commercial torts, and securities matters. She also has experience in products liability defense, premises liability, wrongful death, and insurance coverage.
During law school, Amaris served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Nita L. Stormes of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California; the Honorable Judith L. Haller of the California Court of Appeal, 4th District, Division 1; and the Honorable James B. Pierce of the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles. She also interned for the California Attorney General’s Office, Health, Education and Welfare Section.
