Overview
Adriana Diaz Mireles is an associate at Fisher Phillips’ San Francisco office. She advises and represents employers in a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims. Adriana also advises clients on a broad range of business immigration issues. Her experience includes working with national and multinational corporations on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, complying with employment eligibility verification requirements, and responding to inquiries and audits from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of Labor (DOL). She also has experience in Program Electronic Review Management (PERM) cases, I-40 petitions, and adjustment of status.
Adriana received her J.D from University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). While in law school, she served as a Judicial Extern at the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District. She also served as a Senior Articles Editor for the UC Law Business Law Journal and was president of Students for Immigrants’ Rights, as well as the founder of Students for Immigrants’ Rights Pro Bono. She currently serves on the board of the SF La Raza Latino Bar Association of San Francisco.
Adriana received her B.A. with honors in Political Science from the University of California, Merced.
