In this presentation we will review key points on conducting an internal wage and hour compliance assessment. This includes what an internal compliance assessment entails, such as reviewing issues related to proper employee classification and compensation practices, timekeeping policies, and recordkeeping. We will also discuss best practices for conducting one. Lastly, we will go through how to implement any necessary changes in a manner that reduces the risks of future claims regarding problem areas that are identified in the assessment.
