From the ever changing minimum wage, calculating overtime, to the nuances of exempt and non-exempt status, The Fair Labor Standards act (FLSA), and a number of state laws, includes specific exemptions (motor carrier exemption, mechanic exemption, etc.) applicable to the retail automotive industry.
