Strategic Approaches to Employment Contracts for K-12 Educational Institutions
Event
10.04.23
1:00 PM — 2:00 PM EDT
Carefully crafted employment contracts play a pivotal role in fostering positive employee relations and offering essential legal safeguards for educational institutions. Well drafted employment agreements, contracts and offer letters - regardless of the name - can provide the school with flexibility when it needs to make changes and limit its potential exposure if there is a dispute. Even more importantly, in a time when employees may have different expectations, which may not align with the school’s needs and mission, employment contracts can ensure that everyone is on the same page and expectations are properly established from the beginning.
This session will provide schools with insights, strategies and some language to consider including in their agreements to ensure that they and their faculty and staff are aligned in their mission and expectations.
