Asbury Park Press , Sunday Star Ledger and New Jersey 101.5 quoted New Jersey Partner David Strand in articles regarding the Rutgers harassment scandal. The articles addressed the recent Rutgers-Mike Rice scandal and how employers should be re-thinking their anti-harassment policies. David said that “what you see a lot of times is the employer making decisions not based on the facts, but (saying), ‘He’s my number one salesman.’ Do I have to get rid of my number one salesmen or can I send him to remediation?’. . .You’ve got to do a thorough investigation and take prompt remedial action. What that prompt remedial action is the $64,000 question.”
