Philadelphia Fisher Phillips Lawyers Listed in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers

PHILADELPHIA, PA (May 27, 2014) - Three attorneys from the Philadelphia Fisher Phillips office have been selected for inclusion in the 2014 edition of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
This annual list highlights standout attorneys with a high degree of recognition and professional achievement in their fields, as decided by a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
The three attorneys listed in Super Lawyers include Lori Armstrong Halber, Michael R. Greco and Rick Grimaldi.
Lori Armstrong Halber, represents management in all aspects of labor relations and employment law. She has extensive experience defending employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies as well as providing labor relations counseling. Her vast experience allows her to defend clients in grievance and unfair labor practice claims and regularly provide preventive counseling and training on topics such as the respectful workplace, performance management and union avoidance.
Michael R. Greco litigates and provides counseling nationwide to employers concerning legal claims and issues arising from the movement of employees between competitor firms. He has a variety of experience including representation of clients in the securities brokerage, health information technology, and medical practices among others. In addition, Mike also assists corporate clients in developing and implementing coordinated local and/or national programs to protect their competitive assets against employee defection, and to minimize risks that when hiring employees from competitors.
Rick Grimaldi provides advice, counsel and training on such topics as reductions in force, performance management, creating a respectful workplace and drafting of employment handbooks and policies. He has a national practice spans all aspects labor and employment law including regularly representing employers in litigation matters involving discrimination claims and wrongful termination claims. Rick also assists businesses in traditional labor matters such as formulating comprehensive and strategic union avoidance talks and negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
In addition, two attorneys in the Philadelphia office were listed as Rising Stars.
Michael R. Galey concentrates his practice on defending employers against employment related claims and advising clients on personnel management and statutory compliance issues. He is routinely involved in defending employers in matters in which former employees have alleged discrimination claims as well as claims against employers for sexual harassment, breach of employment contract, defamation, and wrongful termination.
Christina M. Michael has experience litigating a broad range of matters in both state and federal courts. She concentrates her practice on defending employers in cases involving allegations of wrongful termination, defamation, breach of contract, wage disputes, and discrimination based on race, national origin, age, and gender. She also works on matters relating to employee defection, recruitment and related issues such as non-competition agreements and unfair competition.
