Philadelphia Attorney Discusses Proposal That Would Extend Overtime Protections to Millions

In an interview with SRHM, Patrick Dalin discusses a proposed rule by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) that, if finalized and implemented, would extend overtime protections to 3.6 million more workers, according to the DOL. Patrick warns that small and midsize businesses could face substantial increases in labor costs if they have to pay larger salaries or reclassify employees as eligible for overtime.
