New York Breakfast Briefing - How Fair is the New York City Fair Chance Act?
Event
9.14.23
12:00 PM — 1:00 PM EST
The New York City Fair Chance Act makes it illegal for most employers in New York City to ask applicants about their criminal record before making a job offer, and has very specific requirements that must be followed if an employer wishes to revoke a conditional offer based on the existence of a criminal record. This presentation will go over the steps employers need to take in order to comply with the law, along with potential pitfalls.
