With a spate of new legislative and regulatory developments involving pay transparency taking effect in states around the country, employers would be wise to prepare for an onslaught of litigation in late 2023 and 2024. The discussion will also identify new litigation threats resulting from heightened scrutiny of pay equity matters and public availability of pay rates. Employers will come away with tools to protect against pay equity claims and best practices to prepare for aggressively defend against the growing volume latest wave of pay equity litigation.
