Megan E. Walker Certified as a Specialist in Appellate Law by California Bar

Megan E. Walker, partner in Fisher Phillips’ San Diego office, has been certified as a specialist in Appellate Law by The State Bar of California. Less than 0.2% of active attorneys licensed in California are certified appellate specialists. 

The State Bar of California program for certifying legal specialists is a California Supreme Court approved method of certifying attorneys as specialists in eleven areas of law. Attorneys are certified through a process which includes successful passage of a written examination, completion of specific tasks in the specialty area, attendance at prescribed number of approved education programs, and peer review.

At Fisher Phillips, Megan represents employers of all sizes and across various industries in litigation and advice matters. While the majority of her practice is currently dedicated to appellate litigation, Megan has represented employers in California her entire legal career, making her well-versed in employment law as well as California appellate procedure.
