In an interview with Law360, Andrew Gallinaro discusses his decision to join Fisher Phillips as partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office and member of the firm’s Employee Defection and Trade Secrets (EDTS) Practice Group and Higher Education industry group.
In addition to previously working with a number of Fisher Phillips’ attorneys, Andrew explains that the opportunity to work with the firm’s EDTS group was a selling point. He told Law360 that he became interested in trade secrets and restrictive covenant matters because of the emotionally charged nature of some of those disputes, which made it easy for him to connect with his clients. "It is a subject where we are often called on to balance the fundamental right of individuals to earn a living with critically important interests of businesses to protect proprietary information, and I enjoy working closely with my clients to navigate those difficult issues.”
Last week, Scott C. Oberlander, trade secrets litigator, joined the firm, and with the arrival of Andrew, a run of growth for the Philadelphia office continues. The office has more than doubled the location's number of attorneys since it moved into a new office downtown in 2020.
