Fisher Phillips Welcomes Teri Gibbs in Los Angeles

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Teri Gibbs has joined the firm as an associate in the Los Angeles office.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Teri served as a litigation associate at a regional labor and employment firm where she represented employers on various matters, including single and multi-plaintiff claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) representative actions, wage-and-hour violations, and government agency investigations. She has represented healthcare companies, hospitals, food and beverage companies, staffing agencies, construction companies, auto repair companies, law firms, trusts, music and film production companies, municipalities, counties, and government agencies.
At Fisher Phillips, Teri will continue defending employers in workplace law disputes and will advise companies on compliance with a wide range of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations.
Teri earned her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, she served as a San Diego County Bar Association Diversity Fellow, Events Chair and Vice President for the Black Law Student Association, and contributor to the law school’s newspaper. She also worked as a law clerk for a nationally ranked corporate and litigation firm, the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, and an employment and sexual assault litigation firm.
Before law school, Teri earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University and Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
