Fisher Phillips Welcomes John Rogers in Louisville

Fisher Phillips, an international labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that John Rogers has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Louisville office.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, John served as a Staff Attorney for the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet where he handled complex civil and administrative litigation on behalf of the agency. In this capacity, he defended the agency in personnel and civil actions, assisted and advised in the conduct of complex investigations of work-related fatalities, and provided guidance to businesses and private industry regarding compliance with OSHA and wage and hour laws and regulations. He also litigated complex enforcement matters involving child labor, OSHA related discrimination, and unfair labor practices from the administrative stages through the appellate stage. At Fisher Phillips, John will join the firm's growing workplace safety practice group and will assist clients with interactions with OSHA and other workplace safety agencies, including inspections and litigation, as well as guiding clients in complex labor and employment disputes while also providing counseling on workplace policies and personnel matters to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
John earned his J.D. from the Appalachian School of Law, where he earned the Angela Dales Spirit of ASL award and the Sam Weddington Little Red Wagon Award for Community Service. After law school, he was a prosecutor at the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office 15thJudicial Circuit in Carrollton Kentucky where he assisted in investigations and prosecutions of felony cases.
