Fisher Phillips Welcomes John Orr to Las Vegas Office

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that John Orr has joined the firm’s Las Vegas office.
John was most recently at a regional litigation firm where he represented corporate clients in complex legal disputes and managed a docket of over 25 cases. In that role, he defended commercial and public entities in federal and state court litigation from the development of case strategy through discovery and all phases of trial. Prior to that, John was an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm where he defended clients in commercial litigation with a focus on representing high-level executives in employment matters involving allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. He also counseled employers on other aspects of their employment relationships involving personnel matters, disciplinary decisions, and non-compete and solicitation issues.
At Fisher Phillips, John will continue his work on behalf of employers, representing them throughout all phases of complex federal and state court litigation. He will also advise employers on compliance with a wide variety of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations.
John earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law where he was Articles Editor of the Utah Law Review. And he earned his B.A. from Brigham Young University.
