Fisher Phillips Welcomes Joel Moon in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 5, 2020) – Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, announces the addition of Joel Moon as an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Moon joins from a California firm where he was a member of their labor and employment practice focused on litigation defense and preventive counseling. His litigation experience includes representing employers against various state and federal law claims, including wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wrongful termination. Moon has experience handling single plaintiff and complex class actions at all stages of litigation, from commencement to settlement, trial or appeal. As a part of his practice, he also counsels employers on employee discipline, separations, terminations and severance negotiations. Moon also has experience as a management-side labor negotiator and has counseled employers on various traditional labor issues and employer-employee relations. Additionally, he advises clients on CalPERS issues, including audit issues related to ongoing compliance and policy decisions.

Moon earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and his B.A. summa cum laude, from California State University, Fullerton.
