Fisher Phillips Welcomes Daniel O’Connell Schmidt in Portland, Oregon

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Daniel Schmidt has joined the firm as an associate in the Portland, Oregon office.

Dan was most recently at a boutique law firm where he defended employers in a wide variety of workplace disputes. At Fisher Phillips, Dan will continue his work on behalf of employers by representing them in complex federal and state court litigation matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wage and hour claims. He will also advise employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws while providing counseling on all aspects of their employment relationships.

Dan earned his law degree from Pepperdine University, during which he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable W. David Counts, United States District Court Judge for the Western District of Texas. Before law school, Dan served as an Armor Officer in the United States Army.
