Fisher Phillips’ San Diego Office Welcomes Thomas Boswell

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Thomas Boswell has joined the firm’s San Diego office.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Tom was an associate at a Northern California civil litigation firm where he represented public and private entities as well as 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in employment matters in state and federal court. He defended employers in various litigation matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and hostile work environment under FEHA, EEOC, ADA, and the Whistleblower Protection Act. Prior thereto, Tom was an associate at a large plaintiff-side firm and has experience handling pre-litigation claims with various administrative agencies, such as DFEH, OSHA, and DRE.
With his unique background, Tom brings a valuable perspective to Fisher Phillips. He combines his years of defending employers with insights from representing plaintiffs to effectively assist companies in workplace disputes and advise them on compliance with a wide range of federal and state employment laws.
Tom earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he was a finalist in the Galloway Moot Court competition and an associate of Santa Clara Law Review. He earned his B.A from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he graduated on the Dean’s Honor List for academic excellence.
