Fisher Phillips Grows Again in North Carolina
Firm Welcomes Eric Cunningham in Charlotte

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Eric Cunningham has joined the firm as an associate in the Charlotte office bringing the total attorney headcount to 15.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Eric was an attorney at a regional litigation and commercial real estate firm where he served as a litigation attorney and focused his practice on complex commercial litigation and tort matters. He drafted pleadings for state and federal court proceedings in multiple practice areas, such as insurance, construction, landlord-tenant, products liability, and employment disputes. Eric was also a legal extern for Judge Tobias Hampson of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
At Fisher Phillips, he will continue to represent employers in workplace law disputes and will also provide companies with counseling and advice on all aspects of their employment relationships.
Eric earned his J.D. from Elon University School of Law, where he held leadership roles with the Black Law Students Association, served as a Leadership Fellow, competed in Moot Court, and served as the Business Editor for the Elon Law Review. Before attending law school, he graduated with a B.A. from Elon University.
Eric joins a rapidly growing Charlotte office with recent arrivals including Lucy Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Hunter Murray, Mary Grace Miller, and Sharon Suh.
