IRVINE, LOS ANGELES, SAN FRANCISCO (February 15, 2021) – Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, announces the addition of five attorneys across California. The firm welcomes Andrew Saxon, of counsel, and Albert Lin, associate, in Irvine; Krystle Meyer and Christina Vier as associates in Los Angeles; and Megan Clark, associate, in San Francisco. The new attorneys expand Fisher Phillips’ rapidly growing California Employment Litigation practice.
Saxon brings over a decade of experience from international and regional law firms where he represented employers in a broad spectrum of employment, class action and commercial matters in both state and federal courts. He has worked with clients of all sizes, ranging from local employers to global Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, education, food service, insurance, oil and gas, franchisors, and retail services. At Fisher Phillips, he will work alongside the firm’s expansive California Litigation team to handle all phases of litigation and defense of employers in single plaintiff, multi-party, and class actions, with a focus on wage and hour cases, trade secrets misappropriation, independent contractor misclassification allegations, wrongful termination, employment discrimination and PAGA claims. Saxon earned his J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Lin defends employers against workplace claims in state and federal courts across California. He has substantial experience representing public entities and employers in the construction industry. Lin manages all phases of litigation, including leading discovery efforts and formulating strategies for depositions, to preparing pleadings and pre-trial motions. Lin earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. from Cornell University.
Meyer is an employment litigator with extensive experience handling class, representative and individual actions. She has represented clients in a number of industries, including aerospace, banking/finance, consumer products, entertainment, insurance, government contracting, logistics and professional sports in variety of employment matters from inception through trial. Meyer also works to minimize the risk of litigation by providing advice and counseling to businesses of all sizes, finding effective solutions to issues that arise in the workplace. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Tulane Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
Vier focuses much of her practice on defending employers and individuals against single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, representative and class actions, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, wrongful termination and wage and hour violations. In addition to her litigation practice, she provides preventive counseling to help employers remain in compliance with local, state and federal labor and employment laws. Vier earned her J.D., cum laude, from Chapman University School of Law and her B.A. from Loyola Marymount University.
Clark represents employers in a wide variety of issues arising within the employer/employee relationship, including claims of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination, disability accommodation, retaliation and wage and hour issues. She has extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation, from discovery and depositions through dispositive motions, settlement negotiations and trial preparation and will leverage this experience to assist employers across California. In addition to her employment practice, Clark has experience defending financial services institutions in state and federal courts against matters relating to mortgage lending and consumer finance disputes and has also represented a wide variety of defendants in personal injury and products liability litigation. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
