Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Jacob Bruner has joined the firm’s Denver office.
Jake was most recently at an AmLaw 100 firm where he litigated on behalf of corporate clients in complex employment disputes with a focus on trade secrets, restrictive covenants, independent contractor issues, leave laws, and discrimination. He also helped clients avoid workplace disputes through his advice and counsel on all aspects of their employment relationships, which included reviewing contracts, drafting and implementing workplace policies, and conducting investigations into various allegations and sensitive personnel matters.
At Fisher Phillips, Jake will defend companies throughout all aspects of employment litigation, with a focus on representing employers in restrictive covenant and trade secrets matters. He will also advise and counsel employers on compliance with a wide variety of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations.
Jake earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where he was Editor and Contributing Author of the Cleveland State Law Review. During law school, Jake also earned his M.B.A., magna cum laude, from Cleveland State University after earning his B.A., manga cum laude, from The Ohio State University.
