Fisher Phillips, an international labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that Hillary Ross has joined the firm as Of Counsel in Denver. Hillary is one of several attorneys to join in Denver in recent months, continuing the growth momentum in the region and bringing the lawyer headcount in that office to over 30.
Hillary was most recently a partner at a regional firm where she litigated a variety of labor and employment law matters in both Colorado and Federal District Courts. In that capacity, she advised employers on issues relating to discrimination, retaliation, harassment and reasonable accommodation, as well as employee classification, wage payment, overtime, executive agreements, severance agreements, and noncompete agreements. She went on to serve as a staff attorney at a full-service Denver law firm where she continued litigating labor and employment matters in state and federal court and represented clients before administrative agencies including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Colorado Civil Rights Division.
At Fisher Phillips, Hillary will continue her work as a litigator representing management in complex labor and employment law disputes, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination as well as wage and hour collective and class actions. Hillary will also help clients prevent workplace disputes by providing preventative legal counsel and advice on all aspects of their employment relationships while working strategically with business leaders to formulate and implement strategies to minimize risk.
Hillary earned her J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law where she served as the Production Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review. She earned her B.S., cum laude, from Woodbury University.
