Fisher Phillips Adds Theresa D’Andrea to Service Tri-State Region

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Theresa D’Andrea has joined as Of Counsel in the firm’s New Jersey and New York offices.
Theresa counsels and represents businesses on a range of employment and litigation matters including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, protected leave, and accommodation requests. A veteran of both the private and public sectors, she is experienced in all phases of litigation and has handled more than 100 cases in the federal, state, and appellate courts, at the administrative and agency levels, and in arbitration forums. Theresa also provides a variety of training to businesses and their employees on topics including equal employment opportunity, sexual harassment, and conflicts and ethical responsibilities.
As former Counsel to the New York State Department of State’s Athletic Commission, Theresa regulated professional combat sports; regularly counseled on employment matters; advised on risk management, ethics, and contractual issues; directed and oversaw internal and external investigations; and prosecuted matters against state licensees. Before that, she was an attorney with the New York City Law Department, Labor and Employment Law and Special Federal Litigation Divisions, where she was lead counsel to New York City, its agencies, and employees on labor and employment and civil rights cases in federal and state courts.
Theresa earned her J.D., cum laude, from The University of Michigan law School and her B.A. in English from Cornell University.
